Forklift Skills Competition

To strengthen technical support for safety, cultivate a high‑quality workforce of specialized equipment operators aligned with the development of safe production, enhance forklift drivers’ safety awareness and professional skills, and foster learning, exchange, and skill‑sharing among forklift operators, the Forklift Skills Competition, jointly organized by the Longkou Town Trade Union and Zhongxun Group, was successfully held on November 10.

This year’s hands-on skills competition requires participants to navigate a designated route and operate a forklift to complete two integrated events: “Precision Transport” and “Forklift Hoop Shot.” These challenges not only test drivers’ maneuvering skills and their ability to maintain precise control over the forklift, but also put their mental fortitude and accumulated experience to the test.

With the referee’s whistle, the competition officially began. The contestants skillfully started their forklifts, executed precise reverse maneuvers and sharp turns, and swiftly and smoothly adjusted their vehicles, demonstrating exceptional expertise. With a professional demeanor, they tackled challenges head-on, fully embodying the spirit of craftsmanship that defines frontline employees in the company.

The competitors kept a sharp eye on everything and an attentive ear to every sound, focusing intently on each step, each stage, and every detail. At the slightest sign of a pole being knocked over or any instability, they promptly adjusted their technique.

In their eyes, the competition is more than just a showcase of skills—it’s like a real‑world battle. The entire audience couldn’t help but cheer and applaud the contestants’ masterful performances, with waves of applause rippling through the venue.

Award Ceremony Segment

After a half-day of intense competition, four awards were presented—First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize, and an Excellence Award—with a total of seven contestants receiving recognition.

Holding a forklift‑operating skills competition aims to assess and enhance the capabilities of our workforce, promote the spirit of labor and craftsmanship, and foster a corporate safety culture that values knowledge, talent, and expertise.
