On the afternoon of July 29, the China Stone Association’s Artificial Stone Professional Committee successfully held its leadership transition meeting in Xiamen.
Leaders and guests attending the meeting included: Chen Guoqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President of the China Building Materials Federation, as well as President of the China Stone Association; Cai Qing’an, Member of the Standing Committee of the Nan’an Municipal Party Committee and Head of the United Front Work Department; Qi Zigang, Executive Vice President of the China Stone Association; Guo Jingwei, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Fujian Provincial Stone Industry Association; Zhou Keji, Executive President of the Shandong Provincial Stone Industry Association; Wang Shaofang, Chairman of Fujian Pengxiang Industrial Co., Ltd.; Su Yongding, Chairman of Fujian Shengda Machinery Co., Ltd.; Zeng Shuibo, Chairman of Fujian Sanli Stone Industry Co., Ltd.; Liu Songjun, Chairman of Guangxi Lisheng Stone Industry Co., Ltd.; Gan Senqiang, Sales General Manager of Guangdong Zhongxun New Materials Co., Ltd.; Deng Feizhou, General Manager of Foshan Huigu Technology Co., Ltd.; Cai Xiaoguo, General Manager of Quanzhou Nanxing Marble Co., Ltd. in Fujian; Zhang Zhi’nian, Marketing Director of Keda Manufacturing Co., Ltd.; as well as other leaders and experts, along with representatives from artificial stone manufacturers and related enterprises across the country.

Zhongxun was elected as a “Vice-President Unit.”
The meeting heard the work reports of the Special Committee and its expert panel, discussed and voted on the draft revised Rules of Procedure for the Special Committee, as well as the proposed list of the Committee’s Chair, Vice Chairs, Secretary-General, and Standing Committee members; it also deliberated and approved the Regulations on the Administration of the Technical Committee, along with the proposed list of the Committee’s Chair, Vice Chairs, and members. Following this, the meeting read out the “Initiative for High-Quality Development of the Artificial Stone Industry during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period” and the list of demonstration enterprises for transformation, upgrading, and innovative development under the 13th Five-Year Plan.

Speech by Cai Qing’an
Minister Cai Qing’an first, on behalf of the Nan’an Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, paid tribute to the achievements the Artificial Stone Specialized Committee has attained over the past few years, and expressed gratitude for its professional services—particularly its efforts to drive the transformation and upgrading of the artificial stone industry and to advance green, low‑carbon, high‑quality development. He encouraged all parties to leverage the China Stone Association and the Artificial Stone Specialized Committee as platforms to strengthen exchanges, deepen cooperation, foster collaborative growth, and jointly expand and elevate China’s stone industry. He also extended a warm invitation to visit Nan’an for fact-finding missions and investment opportunities, with the aim of jointly promoting the high‑quality development of both the stone and artificial stone industries.

Executive Vice President of the China Stone Association
Qi Zigang delivered a speech.
Executive Vice President Qi Zigang stated that, to advance the green, low‑carbon, safe, and high‑quality development of the building materials industry and guide enterprises toward a long‑term growth orientation, the China Building Materials Federation has successively put forward, across the entire sector, the new development goal of “building a thriving industry and creating superior products to benefit humanity,” as well as the initiative to establish “Six‑Zero” demonstration factories. He further expressed the hope that the newly elected specialized committee will seize the opportunities presented by the “dual carbon” goals, continue to strengthen guidance on innovation‑driven development, remain committed to innovation, sustain R&D investment and product launches, build core corporate competitiveness, accelerate the transformation toward specialization, refinement, uniqueness, and novelty, and promote brand‑oriented growth—thereby overcoming the industry’s longstanding challenges of excess low‑end capacity, product homogenization, and cutthroat price competition, and ultimately achieving high‑quality development.
